Chris Iliff works in the Firm’s corporate and nonprofit/tax-exempt organization practice groups.

Chris assists the Firm’s outside general counsel clients on various corporate and contractual matters, and he advises nonprofit/tax-exempt organizations throughout their life cycle, providing strategic guidance from formation and recognition of tax-exempt status to governance and compliance.

Chris graduated from King Hall at the University of California, Davis in 2023 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. In law school, he represented clients through the Aoki Water Justice Clinic and was the Submissions Chair for the Journal of International Law and Policy.

Prior to attending law school, Chris served as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army and the California Army National Guard.

In his personal time, Chris enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, and supporting the San Francisco Giants.
